Divisional Signals Recruiting Picture. July 1943
" Our aim is to ensure that the memory of those men who served is maintained with dignity! "
With this in mind. We look for a special kind of person who will be dedicated to the unit and wear the uniform, not only correctly, but with the respect that it deserves. The unit is run along military lines during ‘working hours’ and yes! There is going to be a certain amount of period ‘bull and shine’. But from this an Esprit de Corps develops along with a greater pride in the unit's history!

Yes it is a hobby and one that can be extremely rewarding with many friends being made along the way however; there is a reason why Blandford Boys goes that little bit further ......
To do anything less would not do the forebears of the unit justice!
We encourage members to develop their own collections of equipment and material so that a greater and more comprehensive presentation can be provided to the general public helping to raise their awareness of the importance of signals during this period. Should vehicle owners express an interest in this portrayal then this would be most welcome but we would ask that vehicle livery be changed to that of Divisional Signals.
